Sharpening Your Sword

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

(Ephesians 6:16-17)

Reading your Bible is a wonderful thing.  Reading your Bible everyday is good for you.   It isn’t easy at first.  But if you try more and more you will get better at it. You should also try to read a devotion booklet with your Bible.

About six months ago I started reading my Bible and Devotions every night by myself, after family devotions. It was so worth it to me!  Reading my Bible helped me to draw closer to God and to trust Him.

So you see dudes you should really read your Bible!
Lord,  Help us to be more faithful to read the Bible every day.  Amen.
